TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions of Business are between 1 st For Training Ltd, hereinafter called the Service Provider, and the Client, and are deemed to be accepted by virtue of a booking or engagement of a training course. The client agrees to complete a Booking Form, completion of which indicates a firm booking.

BOOKING CONDITIONS

Your booking will be confirmed in writing within five working days of us receiving your completed booking form/booking confirmation.

If you do not receive a confirmation letter or an invoice/receipt within ten working days, please contact our Administration Manager.

The Client may have direct contact with Associates of 1 st For Training Ltd regarding their needs, however, this contract is between 1 st For Training Ltd and the Client and not the Associate and the Client.

Where this booking form relates to a training programme the Service Provider willprovide the Client with Aims, Objectives and a Programme Outline. By receipt of these details the Client accepts that this is the Programme to be delivered and therefore that covered by these Terms of Business.

The Client undertakes not to reproduce any materials provided without prior written permission from 1 st For Training Ltd.

If the Service Provider is unable to fulfil the contract for reasons of illness of the facilitator/consultant or other Exceptional Circumstances the Client can either:-

a) accept a replacement facilitator/consultant (if available) for the date of the booking or

b) ask the Service Provider to refund the payment made or

c) agree a mutually alternative date

For these purposes, "Exceptional Circumstances" means, without limitation, war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, transport delay or adverse weather conditions.

The Service Provider shall have no further responsibility to the Client except where the Service Provider is responsible for any death, bodily injury or illness caused to the Client as a result of the proven negligent acts or omissions of the Service Provider, its employees and agents whilst acting in the scope or in the course of the provision of its services to the Client".

CANCELLATION

Less than six weeks from course start date 50% of total course fees

Less than three weeks from the course start date 75% of the total course fees

Less than one week from the course start date 100% of the total course fee

REARRANGEMENT FEES

Less than two weeks from course start date 25% of total course fees

On start date of course 50% of total course fees

PAYMENT

We will invoice one month before the training is due to take place. We accept payment by cheque and BACS.

EXPENSES

Travel expenses to be invoiced for each piece of work at a rate of 40p per mile or 2 nd class rail fare, whichever mode of transport is used.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

We assume that any organisation we work with complies with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
